CDRC’s Early Education Resource Library is designed to assist in the delivery of quality child care and early education services that promote the healthy development of children and provide information to help support and strengthen families. The Library is located in the Santa Cruz County Office of Education. It houses numerous family and child development resources: magazine and journal articles, reports, needs assessments and other planning tools, books, videos, sample contracts, pamphlets, catalogs, legislative resources, licensing information, teacher education, posters and many other resources. The Library is ideal for students, parent educators, new and potential child care providers, and community-based organizations.
Resources are available in English & Spanish.

Accreditation is a process that some child care centers or family child care homes choose to undertake that demonstrates their interest in quality child care. Accredited programs have met national standards that are higher than state licensing requirements.
